Coffee and a Script

Kamala Harris’ 2024 Campaign has been a delightful work of political intelligence. But if even a flawless campaign and a decade of Trump-infused chaos isn’t enough to deter people to finally leave MAGA, I’m not sure what ever will, and I’m not sure I want to continue the fight.

I have stopped my writing sabbatical to try to convince all of you that there is literally only one good choice this election season if we ever want to separate from the awful, irritating, devastating MAGA era of politics once and for all.

Might be time to wave the white flag and move on to the next life path.

It has become next to impossible to properly discuss Star Wars online. The Acolyte has a slew of great ideas that can enhance the overall scope of Star Wars, but its also facing a tsunami of right-wing rage that would love nothing more than to see it cancelled and eradicated from any discourse.

Once again underestimating the love for The Beautiful Game, Miami and CONMEBOL wildly complicated and fumbled what was supposed to be a beautiful night for the Latin American diaspora.

The DNC back in 2020 weren’t picking someone who could beat Trump, they were picking someone who could beat Bernie Sanders, and created/enhanced/allowed tactics from newsmedia that has suddenly become duplicated to try to politically push them out four years later for better ratings. oops.

Very likely an unpopular opinion, but it might be time to levy some criticism towards all the progressives running -against- each other for the presidency, as opposed to merging forces to becoming a unified and legitimate third option in the broken two-party system of U.S. politics.

The Tampa Bay Rays are a well-run organization with zero plans to elevate their budget, their outreach for superstars, or even their attempts to actually building a future site in a viable location. This all leaves me in a disinterested state of fandom purgatory that feels distant from my past supporting this team.
